Introduction To Effortless IFS
These short videos touch give a taste of many of our EIFS themes and practices.
EIFS Intro
In EIFS, when aware of multiple parts simultaneously (planetarium or panoramic perspective or as aware of the two thumbs), blending and thus overall suffering is immediately decreased by at least 50%.
Spiritual bypassing, re-traumatizing and re-exiling can only occur if a part is being met by a part. Coming from the panoramic in EIFS, this becomes unlikely. Video speaks of Dick Schwartz and movie A Beautiful Mind.
In EIFS, there is a blossoming in Self qualities. Calm might open into peace to spaciousness to an alive stillness. Compassion might open into unconditional love to only love to bliss. Connectedness might open into inseparableness, unity, oneness. We explore the experience of parts being met by these different flavors and where some flavors are preferred by parts and lead more rapidly to parts being spontaneous unburdened and returning home. For example, what’s it like for your parts to be seen as innocent, beautiful and perfect?
Automating the discernment between Self and parts is the heart of EIFS and can be easier than learning to drive a car.
The 1st view of EIFS: Resting in or as Self, subtly discerning between Self and parts and gaining somatic balance as Self.
The 2nd view of EIFS: Parts resting in a hot tub of Self and spontaneous unburdening. Self hearing what parts are really wanting — for what do our parts long for? And then experience that Self quality which is longed for effortlessly evoked from Self. In this 2nd view, a primary EIFS tipping point occurs as we begin to realize that everything we and our parts want can be found in Self — this is an extension of IFS psychology where parts realizing their primary attachment to Self.
The 3rd view of EIFS: Intimacy with parts and knowing essence where no separation remains. This 3rd view is where the experiencing of nonduality, oneness, bliss and one love is most pronounced.

You are Mary Poppins seeing the innocence in all your parts throughout this fully experiential workshop with games and deep inner exploration.
As always, our focus is on celebrating our parts. In this workshop, parts ranged from blended polarities that were obscuring Self to parts that were knowing themselves as infused with Self. We dove into appreciating everyone’s parts and through that Self became more evident.
Not included in video, each of 8 participants shared their present most prominent quality of Self and loudest part. The video begins with a dive into our qualities, where are they and what’s the somatic experience of them. Then, we recognize our parts while being aware of the Self qualities they arise in. Are our parts aware that they are not alone and can they feel the presence of Self? How does our system enable us to be aware of the ever-presence of Self concurrent with presence of multiple parts? Everyone invited to find their own metaphor such as planetarium, sun or hot tub. Most of the final thirty minutes is working iwth our loudest parts, those that roar. Can we effortlessly hear what they are longing for? What’s most like what they long for which is here now? We end celebrating our precious parts just as they are.
We explore what is your current tolerance for discomfort or intimacy with parts — as you move from green to yellow to red signaling it’s time for a break or for your firefighter parts to give you a break. We celebrate where we each are perhaps even the perfection of where we are now. We explore is it possible that nothing needs to change. Can we see the innocence of our parts as they are now? We take two dives: the first into your qualities of Self followed by being aware of multiple parts simultaneously and welcoming all parts from spaciousness.

Being with another as spacious awareness on their death bed (note: first 20 minutes is more conversational which transitions into session format). In this session, we enjoy and celebrate the space which opens in Ethan. We offer support as Ethan holds simultaneous awareness of the six parts that can pull him away from spacious awareness We join Ethan as he discovers the innocence within each of his parts. We aid him in exploring an inner continuum where, through the pervasiveness of Self, each part can contribute its unique gifts without the weight of its burdens or charges. This marks a new option in the EIFS approach, emphasizing the unburdened nature of burdened parts through a heightened presence of Self. Lastly, we delve into the challenge of finding uncondional acceptance and okayness even when, during these most difficult times, parts occasionally merge completely. We extend our gratitude to Ethan for his transparency and inspiring demonstration of what is attainable during such a vulnerable period in life.
As part of Corey’s EIFS facilitator training, Sid facilitiates Corey through the basics. This video is used for core training.
Sickeness, Primary Relationship, Spiritual Achiever & Critic Parts Glimpsing Home Here and Now. Ethan isn’t feeling well. He opens speaking for a part who sees this as a waste of time because not feeling well. His second part speaks of being hurt and wanting his wife to care for him differently. Then a spiritual achiever and manager appear who are critical of the focus on those parts as what we truly want is to explore abiding as Self. Ethan zooms out aware of the parts and of the Self qualities in which they arise. From there, he begins to effortlessly hear for what the parts are longing and find glimpses of for what they long here now in Self. A beautiful deep exploration ensues.

Nondual Nonviolent communication (NVC)
Hearing what our parts really want or long for is an essential element of the EIFS awareness practice. As what is longed for is heard then fulfillment is possible from intrinsic Self qualities. Developing this practice of hearing what our parts really want applies an awareness from Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Here we will introduce the application of NVC in EIFS.

Brief intro to NVC, why I love it, why I call it nondual, how it works and how it can work for you. This video doesn’t include the application to IFS which is included in other videos soon to be included in this collection. In short, with NVC we hear the underlying needs or what is really wanted or longed for. When we apply NVC to our parts,we hear what they really want which can contribution significantly to healing and shifting into Self-leadership. Furthermore, we often ask what is most like what is longed for which can be found here and now in Self.
